About

Dr. Aubrey Dauber (she/her) is Clinical Director at Clear Path CBT and is a licensed psychologist in Washington and a psychological associate in California. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy and works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, emotion dysregulation, anger, and eating-related concerns. She completed a year-long fellowship providing full model DBT and has intensive training in both standard DBT and Radically Open DBT. She helps clients build practical skills to manage overwhelming emotions, change unhelpful patterns, and create more stable and fulfilling lives.

Dr. Dauber’s clinical work focuses on helping individuals understand and change patterns in emotions, thoughts, and behavior. She works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, emotion regulation difficulties, chronic pain, personality disorders, and eating related concerns using evidence based CBT approaches. During her doctoral training, Dr. Dauber conducted and published research on emotional processes, behavior patterns, and mental health. She also spent two years at a medical weight management clinic completing psychological evaluations for bariatric surgery candidates and providing therapy for individuals working to build healthier relationships with food and their bodies. Her research has examined how emotions influence behavior and decision making, including how mood affects coping patterns and how acceptance based strategies support healthier behavior change. She also engaged in research on cultural factors related to eating disorders, helping to build a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges people face around food and body image.

At Clear Path CBT, Dr. Dauber offers CBT approaches and full‑model DBT treatment for adolescents and adults experiencing emotion dysregulation and complex emotional challenges. Dr. Dauber approaches therapy with warmth, compassion, and encouragement. She combines rigorous, science‑based methods with a supportive therapeutic relationship, helping clients develop meaningful goals, strengthen resilience, and cultivate fulfilling lives rooted in well‑being and self‑acceptance.

Outside of her clinical work, she delights in trying out new recipes in the kitchen, unwinding with her favorite comedy podcasts, and cherishing quality time with her family.
